Devotion Groups at Pinehurst Baptist Church

Devotion groups have become a regular part of Pinehurst Baptist Church.  The name "devotion groups" comes from Acts 2:42: "And they devoted themselves to the teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."  In the early church, we see a picture of a tight-knit community coming together to learn, share, eat, and pray.  In other words, they were living life together.  The purpose of the devotion groups is to draw us closely together, to learn and grow together, and to have greater fellowship.  Devotion groups are also ways for church members to invite their friends, neighbors, and coworkers into the life of the church.

These groups will meet in homes during the week and will compliment what we do on Sundays.  For more information, contact the church or look for information on Sunday mornings at church.

Our recent devotion group studies have been Meeting God by J. I. Packer, Gospel in Life by Tim Keller, and Crazy Love by Francis Chan.

For now, our devotion groups are meeting as men's and women's groups.  Visit the Men's & Women's Ministries page for more information.
