Why Does This Ministry Exist |
| 50+ Ministry |
We are a ministry of fellowship! This is an opportunity to join together with others who share our own history - our own concerns - our own family circumstance [ e.g. we don't have to arrange for babysitters anymore!] And we do this in the nicest possibly way: over lunch. |
|
To keep in contact with church family and to welcome guests; to provide and opportunity for fellowship. |
| Hospitality Ministry |
To coordinate social functions within Pinehurst Baptist Church. |
|
To provide opportunities for fellowship within Pinehurst Baptist Church. We set up for social functions, call on others to provide food for memorials, etc., clean-up after functions. |
| Women's Fellowship Ministry |
Bringing the women of the church together for social interaction, information and inspiration. |
|
We have a host of other relationships and activities that call for an outlay of time, resources, and energies. Too often we neglect taking care of ourselves while we naturally focus our energies on taking care of others. This ministry brings the women of the church together in a rich fellowship and focuses on special ministries for which women are naturally inclined and to develop their ministries for the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom. We want to provide and improve on a spiritual foundation in biblical studies and prayer, Christian home-life methods, benevolent services and personal relationships. |

Why Does This Ministry Exist |
| Music Ministry |
At Pinehurst Baptist Church, "We value Spirit-led worship over style and form". This value is expressed as we foster an environment where people can encounter the living God, resulting in praise adoration and thanksgiving. |
|
Music is one of the primary means of praising God. Music is an act of prayer and communicates our heart to God. Music teaches biblical truths. Music provides worshipers a genuine means of active participation in corporate worship. Music should bring to people the sense of the presence of God. Music leadership is a privilege and a responsibility. |
| Media Ministry |
To support the music ministry and provide for a more complete worship experience using visual and audio aids. |
|
To encourage participation of the worshipers by enabling them to hear and see during the worship service. Enables pastors and other presenters to teach more effectively by using audio and visual effects. |
