I was born and raised in a Jewish family in northern New Jersey. Eight years after having moved to Southern California as a young adult, I gave my life to Jesus in January of 1984. Since coming to know Christ, I have been involved with various ministries but have primarily served as a worship leader and Christian school educator. I have been married to my wife Claudette for over twenty-eight years and we have one son, Nathan, who is a graduate of Biola University. He and his wife Kenzie now reside in North Dakota where he serves as the youth pastor at Bethel Church of Devil’s Lake. Claudette and I consider it a blessing and a privilege to be called to serve our Savior through the ministry of Pinehurst Baptist Church. We are also extremely thankful to God for allowing us to move to the beautiful (and exceedingly green) Pacific Northwest.
My life verse is John 15:5 where Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. Throughout my thirty plus years of ministry, the Lord has never failed to remind me at various times and in various ways that I am utterly helpless without Him and that my sufficiency comes from God alone (2 Corinthians 3:5).
