Our Purpose:
Through our worship, fellowship, Bible study, service, and fun activities we desire to deepen our relationship with Christ, with one another, and to include others to be part of God's family.
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12 ESV)
Baptist Barista
A couple years back, a Pinehurst member had the idea to start a coffee stand right in our church. Mark and Megan DeLong (our former youth leaders) took that idea and shaped it into what it is today--Baptist Barista. Between services, the youth group takes orders and serves coffee drinks and Italian sodas in a variety of flavors.
Baptist Barista operates on a donation basis and the money we receive goes right back into the youth fund for youth events and trips such as conventions and camps.
Baptist Barista gives us the chance to work together and take some of the responsibility for the costs incurred. We also enjoy learning the art of espresso as well as having the chance to get to know the people in our church.
