Missions

We recognize that, as Christians, we are on a mission for Jesus Christ.  We see this clearly in the last words that Jesus spoke before ascending to heaven:

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:18-20 ESV)

We also recognize that missions can be done locally and globally.  We support the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by supporting the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, the Northwest Baptist Convention, and the the Puget Sound Baptist Association.  We also support local missions and help local needs by supporting the Pregnancy Resource Center, the Everett Gospel Mission, and LifePoint Church in Lynnwood.  We have recently adopted a room at the Gospel Mission, which involves renovating and maintaining the room and its furnishings.
